So Sam and I were headed to Nashville, TN to celebrate Christmas with his family, and ended up staying one night at the Opryland hotel before meeting up with his family for their get together. The hotel is decked out at Christmas time, with tons of lights all over the inside. Plus they have a bunch of good restaurants and different holiday shows. We took a carriage ride to see the outdoor lights and went and saw ICE from the movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." This exhibit was AMAZING! They give you blue parkas and keep it freezing in there, but you're allowed to touch all of the ice sculptures, and room after room is a scene from the Grinch movie. There was also a nice ice slide that Sammy tried out, that pregos like myself weren't allowed to ride. So anyways, here are a few pictures from our trip...I'll put the rest of them on facebook =).
We had yummy buffet food at one of the restaurants for dinner... look behind me and you can kind of see some of the indoor Christmas lights.
Sammy loved the buffet, because they had pre-cut crab legs.. no mess! =)

After looking at more lights around the hotel, we went on a carriage ride...yah, if you go to the Opryland don't pay for the carriage ride, it's kind of a jip =) lol
So after the carriage ride, we walked around outside and saw the lights ourselves... how many lights are on each tree behind Sammy? So pretty!
This was the ghetto elevator to our room... every time we were on it, we thought we were getting stuck! Lol, it would seriously wait 2 minutes going from the third floor to the first floor to open the door.
