Friday night I was surprising him b/c I got reservations to Rivue! It's this nice restaurant downtown that has two revolving dining rooms, so sometimes you are seeing sights of downtown while you eat, and sometimes you are seeing views of the Ohio river! It took us 2 1/2 hours to eat our meal, and Sammy had to work a half day the next day.
Well, the next day, he got off work at noon, and I had to go tutor my figure skater at noon (I'm tutoring a sophomore figure skater in Geometry and World Lit.), and then I was going to meet Sammy at the apartment at 2:00 for us to go do the Jim Beam whiskey tour! He was excited, b/c being prego, of course he was going to get my samples! =) Well, before we could leave, he was meeting some people from Craigslist driving ALL THE WAY from Chicago, that were coming to buy the Navigator! Well, it took him too long to meet with the people buying the Navigator, so we weren't going to make the whiskey tour in time! And... Sammy was actually really sad to see his Navigator go, I mean legitimately sad about it!
When I got back to the apartment, Sammy had rushed around after work before meeting with the Navigator people, to set up a little V-day thing for me with a gift certificate for a spa day (which I'm saving until after I have Brylee Reese), and my JP Lizzy diaper bag (I had bought my sister this brand when she was pregnant and it held up so well, and has all these extra compartments and little bags with it, so that you don't have to carry around a purse AND a diaper bag)!!!! And most importantly, the sweetest card ever! =) lol..
So anyways, we had to skip the whiskey tour, and then him and I snuggled and took a nap together, which kind of ruled out some of my other scavenger hunt plans I had for him. But we had a great day together, and ate at Smoky Bones that night, not only did they have good ribs but a bunch of tv's to watch the bball games that were on! lol.
At the Rivue lounge...

Sammy and our dessert...I think this is when the Ohio River was behind us.
My little V-day surprise Sammy set up for me =)

My JP Lizzy diaper bag!!! Hopefully this one lasts a long time and holds up as well as my sister's! =) How much difference does a year make, when now I get super excited about receiving a diaper bag as a present? =)

One last picture of the Navigator... since my hubbie was pretty heartbroken to say goodbye. Over 200,000 miles it was time to go, since we were using it as our main vehicle on road trips, etc.
