I'm now a homebody! 36 Week Prego Appt.

So, before I get to the reason I even had another ultrasound... look at how VERY CUTE this picture is! I was getting an ultrasound today, and the tech would ask me questions. She zoomed in on Brylee's face and she was like "Look at this!" She was like everytime you talk she smiles! Lol, it was the cutest thing ever! I would talk, and Brylee would smile. The technician would talk and Brylee would quit. I would answer another question and she would smile, once again the technician would talk and Brylee would quit! Awww... I can't wait to hold this little girl! =)
Brylee's face when the technician would talk =).

So anyways, the whole reason I had an ultrasound today was just as a precaution, because at my appointment on Monday I had high blood pressure! I told the doctor I was nervous (I was getting a pelvic exam, who wouldn't be?), but I had high blood pressure at the end of the appointment too... so they sent me over to the hospital for some tests. I had to have bloodwork, and be hooked up to a blood pressure machine that tested my blood pressure every ten minutes for an hour and a half. They also hooked me up to a contraction monitor, and the nurse was like "Can you feel those contractions?" I was having them constantly! I feel them sometimes (like I had a few last night and a few this morning), but they aren't hard, and nothing regular yet. The nurse predicted that I will have Brylee within the next two weeks, so we'll see! Well, thankfully, all of my tests this week have come back great, and my blood pressure at the hospital was really low. My last "test" was this ultrasound, and Brylee did a great job! She is measuring a week ahead, and weighing in at 6 pounds and 11 ounces (but this could be off a pound). Also, as of Monday I was already 50% effaced and 1 centimeter dialated. Well, anyways, just as a precaution, with all of these tests, they want me to stay on home rest until Brylee gets here. So, I am now a homebody!
As a side note, the nurse that took my blood and was helping me with the blood pressure at the hospital on Monday started asking me medical history questions. She was like it's better to do it now than to wait until I come in and I'm in labor. So, she started asking me about my husband, and I told her he was just diagnosed with MS a couple of weeks ago. She goes really? I was diagnosed with MS as well 25 years ago. She told me she had symptoms of it for three years, and hasn't had any problems with it since! So, I thought that was encouraging, and probably some planning from God, that out of all the nurses at the hospital I would get one that had been diagnosed with MS. I would have never been able to tell she had it if she hadn't told me! =)
Thanks for all of the prayers, we really appreciate them! =) We are hoping to deliver a healthy Brylee in the next couple weeks, and still praying Sam responds well to his medication! =)

Glad everything is going well. I remember how nervous and anxious I was before having Keira. Brylee will be here before you know it. And God does put people in our lives for a reason. That was no mistake you had that nurse. Can't wait to see pics of the baby
