So, the KY Derby took place two and a half weeks ago, and Sammy Frogg (aka. Hopper) came to visit for the weekend! =) I was really on the fence about whether or not to go to Churchhill Downs being 35 1/2 weeks prego, but since this is probably the only year Sammy and I will live in Louisville for it, I decided Friday morning I was going to go! So Hopper and Sammy patiently waited for me to do a quick shopping trip for a hat and a dress...after Sammy had to convince me that there was NO WAY I would fit into any of my dresses from our honeymoon. Lol, I realize I am pregnant and much larger, but for some reason I don't realize that I REALLY DO look ready to pop until I see a picture. Anyways, I found a dress at Motherhood Maternity, and no, I didn't wear the shoes. I just had to try them on for the picture! =) 
I took a picture of Hopper and Sammy on the shuttle bus to The Oaks. The Oaks is the day before Derby events on Friday.
I think this was Sammy and my first losing bet ... one of many!

So, the next day for Derby... I decided that a long walk to the shuttle, the heat, and hours of standing probably weren't the best for me being so prego. So, I took Hopper, Sammy, and Brent and dropped them off at the Derby so they could skip the whole shuttle ride and then I just came and picked them up when it was over! =)

Anyways, it was a fun weekend, even though noone picked "Mine that Bird" to win. =)
